Itinerary

Day 1Marrakech, High Atlas, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Agdz

We take the national road N 9 climbing the High Atlas, mounts know as Tiz-n-Tichka. We pass through multiple villages scattered on both sides of the road along the rocky footsteps. Experience the changes in geological structures from the middle to the south, smooth sometimes but sudden and stunningly unexpected at most. Enjoy a stop for the Altitude of 2.260 km, the top spot on the road. We have some other stops to see the panorama of the High Atlas, the villages and houses scattered along the narrow valleys and the traditional shops and bazaars that display the Berber carpets and handmade products. Get your camera ready for the job!
Right before Ouarzazate, we take a turn to visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site. We have luch at one of the restaurants there before taking a walk visit to the Kasbah and climb its narrow pathways to the old granary.
We continue the way to Ouarzazate to visit the Cinema Mueum before heading more south to Agdz, a town that is at the threshold of the Zagora and the starting point for the palm oasis. We spend the night there.

Day 2Agdz, Zagora, Tamegroute, Tagounite, Mhamid, Chegagat

In the morning, we drive towards Zagora along the Daraa Valley. Throughout the way to zagora, the palm trees and oasis will accompany us for the most time. We pass by Zagora city, and then Tamegroute, a small town that is famous for traditional pottery and ceramics as well as the spiritual and religious center of Nasiriyya Zawiya. We have lunch in Mhamid, and head to Chegagat dunes.
While arriving at the great sandy dunes of Chegagat, you have the unique experience of camel riding over the dunes. Live like a nomad on the camel’s back and enjoy the sunset over the biggest dunes in Morocco.
Spend unforgettable night in nomad camp full of joy; we set fire, have nomad music and dancing party, and have lunch. Enjoy watching the sky and the stars at night in the desert, away from the lights of the cities.
